About Nurse G
Gladys Haina, Registered Nurse
I am a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience, with extensive service across Medical and Surgical nursing, Cardiology, Orthopaedic, Stroke and Rehabilitation, Palliative, Maternal and child, OPD, and Emergency Department within Queensland Health, where I have been employed for over a decade.
I have also worked in the Central Sterilising Supply Department (CSSD) as a Registered Nurse Supervisor, where my primary responsibility was to guide technicians and ensure surgical instruments met strict cleaning, decontamination, and sterilisation
standards. This role strengthened my focus on governance, infection control, and patient safety.
Currently, I work in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Queensland, an environment that has allowed me to refine and maintain a high level of skill in IV cannulation and phlebotomy, performed daily in high-acuity and time-critical situations.
NurseG reflects who I am beyond my clinical role. My work is guided by my faith in God and Jesus Christ, and a genuine calling to serve others with compassion and integrity. I believe healthcare is built on trust, communication, and meaningful relationships, and I am committed to delivering care that is professional, ethical, and transparent always within
appropriate scope and standards.
